The identity of the victim is being withheld until next of kin has been notified. At approximately 12:55 p.m. inmates started fighting on one of the institution\u2019s maximum-security general population yards. Inmate-made weapons were used in the riot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/California-CDCR-Logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/California-CDCR-Logo.png\" alt=\"California-CDCR-Logo\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/California-CDCR-Logo.png 250w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/California-CDCR-Logo-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/California-CDCR-Logo-30x30.png 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Correctional peace officers used pepper spray, less-than-lethal force options, and at least two warning shots from the Mini-14.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous inmates were injured and five inmates with stab wounds were taken to an outside hospital for treatment. There are also inmates being treated at the prison\u2019s on-site medical unit.<\/p>\n<p>No staff were injured in the disturbance. <\/p>\n<p>Inmate movement and programming is limited to facilitate the investigation.
