<\/p>\nSan Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services would like to share the locations of the Customer Resource Centers (CRC) hosted by Pacific Gas and Electric(PG&E). Calaveras County OES is in a level III status and is monitoring the situation closely. At this time, it is estimated that 14,235 resident will lose power by 2pm today 10\/23\/19. The predicted “weather all clear” is expected by noon Thursday 10\/24\/19 with some power being restored and total power restoration by 7pm Friday.<\/p>\n

The County has assisted PG&E in securing locations for Customer Resource Centers (CRC’s) at multiple locations to assist our Communities in being more resilient during this incident. These centers are able to provide minimal services, and these services include limited power (for device charging, etc.), water, and staff to provide accurate information. CRC’s will be opening 8:00AM tomorrow (10\/24\/19). .<\/p>\n

The decision to turn off the power and the speed at which it is restored is planned and managed solely by PG&E. Citizens are strongly urged to prepare for being without power for several days.
