<\/p>\nAngels Camp, CA…Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, the District Mechanic\/Bus Driver will supervise and participate in maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel-powered District and contracted equipment; oversee and evaluate the maintenance of all District road equipment to assure safety and efficiency; assist in the development and evaluation of preventative maintenance programs; and schedule all equipment for all types of repairs. Bus driving duties include operating a school bus over designated rural, mountainous routes while transporting students safely and efficiently to the school sites or to co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.<\/p>\n

\nCertificates:\tFor Bus Driver: Valid Class B\/Passenger Endorsement\/Current DMV Physical\/CHP Special Certificate
\nWork Year:\t260 days; 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Bus duties are subbing as needed.
\nStart Date:\tRemainder of the 2019-2020 School Year
\nSalary: \tRange 16, $20.27-$22.30; Depending On Experience <\/p>\n
DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
\nEducation:\tHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, and trade school courses.
\nExperience:
\n \u2022 Five years of journeyman-level experience as an automotive mechanic, including work with diesel engines.
\n \u2022 Must possess a valid California Vehicle Operator\u2019s License that authorizes operating a school bus.
\n \u2022 Must possess CPR and First Aid Certificates.
\n \u2022 Requires vision (which may be corrected) to read small print.<\/p>\n
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
\n \u2022 Possession of a valid Class I California Motor Vehicle Operator\u2019s License.
\n \u2022 Possession of a medical examiner\u2019s certificate.
\n \u2022 Maintain insurability by the District liability insurance carrier.
\n \u2022 Subject to emergency call back and random drug and alcohol testing<\/p>\n
