Lodi, CA…On May 8th, 2020, Daniel Mantz (age 36 of Valley Springs) was contacted in Lodi by Calaveras County Sheriff’s Deputies and Calaveras County Probation Officers. Mantz was found to be in possession of 55 grams of methamphetamine, 36 grams of heroin, 12 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, a stolen handgun, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and evidence of drug sales such as packaging and a scale.
Daniel Mantz was placed under arrest on numerous felony drug trafficking charges. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for violation of probation. Mantz is being held in the Calaveras County Jail with no bail due to the violation of probation charge.
The following charges will be sent to the San Joaquin County District Attorney for prosecution:
