Brass Knuckles Lead to Unlawful Weapons Charges for Sonora Man

Sonora, CA…31-year-old Jarred D. Travis of Sonora was arrested for possession of Metal “brass” Knuckles. At approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday, an employee of a business at the 300-block of Stockton Street called to report two males pushing a shopping cart and discarding items into the roadway. The responding officer located one subject matching the description near the entrance to “Camp Hope.” Travis was determined to on active felony probation out of Tuolumne County, and during a probation search, the officer located a set of metal knuckles, a felony in California.

Travis denied the littering allegation. The other party was later contacted, who also denied being involved in littering.

Travis was arrested and booked at the Tuolumne County Jail for felony possession of an unlawful weapon.
