Sonora, CA…PG&E is taking steps every day to improve the safety and reliability of our electric system, which serves nearly 16 million people in Northern and Central California. This includes working with our customers and communities to manage vegetation located near power lines that could pose a safety concern.
Starting Tuesday, June 2, PG&E contract crews will be performing vegetation management work on Tuolumne Road that will require the closure of one lane of traffic. The closure will be in effect until Friday, June 5, during the hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between the Junction Shopping Center and Lambert Lake Road.
PG&E is encouraging customers to take alternative routes and avoid the area if possible. Traffic control will be in place for safety.
