Lake Alpine, CA…**Traffic Alert** Alpine County Route 4 is now closed between Ebbetts Pass and Silver Creek Campground from 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. today (6/16 and tomorrow 6/17) for paving. The work is to repair a failing section of road east of Ebbetts Pass along Kinney Reservoir. Given that the road is so narrow, there isn’t room to get cars through while trucks and equipment are working.

There is no local detour available. Please use Route 88 or Route 108 as an alternate way to get over the Sierra during construction hours.
