Fire & Traffic Update….Several Mobilehomes Destroyed in Fire Off Of Hwy 132 This Afternoon.

Coulterville, CA…Earlier this afternoon air and ground crews knocked down a fire off of Hwy 132 where several mobile homes and another building were damaged or destroyed. There was also spread to vegetation. From the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office…”Fire on Hwy 132 near Piney Creek trailer park. More details to come. UPDATE- 5:25 pm- Mandatory Evacuations have been lifted and residents can return home. Area is open to residents only. Please be cautions in the area as fire supression equipment remains in the area doing heavy mop and fire operations.

Mandatory Evacuation for all residents within 1 mile of Piney Creek & Hwy 132. Please use Hwy 132 towards La Grange to exit the area.
