Pioneer, CA…Yesterday there were major Injuries to Elverta Teens in Hwy 88 Collision. An 18 year old was driving his 2009 Nissan Sentra westbound on State Route 88 west of Omo Ranch Road. He allowed his vehicle to drift to the right roadway edge and then over corrected back to his left. This caused the vehicle to begin to spin in a counter clockwise direction across the roadway and of of the south side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled down a steep embankment before colliding with a tree. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels on the south side of State Route 88.

The driver and the passenger were transported with major injuries.
