Murphys, CA…Last night a 67 year old Los Altos, CA man was driving his 1976 Fiat east on Hwy 4 at approximately 60 mph. As he came to a left curve he failed to negotiate the curve and allowed his vehicle to run off the roadway, down an embankment and collided with a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and will determine if alcohol or drug impairment was a factor in the collision. From all of us at ThePineTree.net our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and those affected.
