Coleville CA…The Slink Fire burning above Coleville has swelled to 4,760 acres with only 5% containment. If you are wondering where the smoke filling our area is coming form this is the culprit. From the Antelope Valley Fire Dept…”The Slink Fire was reported on August 29th at 6 p.m. in the Slinkard Valley southwest of Topaz Lake. It is estimated to be 2282 acres burning in pinyon juniper, sage and grass and was a result of recent lightning in the area.”  More details to follow…
