San Andreas, CA…Rebecca Boyett was arrested by the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office (State of Nevada) on August 31, 2020 at approximately 10:00pm. The child (Selene) was located in the company of Rebecca and was taken into protective custody by Nevada authorities.

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Calaveras County District Attorney’s Office regarding extradition and charging. Additionally, the abduction case will be forwarded to federal authorities for review.

Rebecca is currently in the custody of the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office Jail on charges which include: Possession of Stolen Property, Kidnapping, Child Abuse, Willful Failure to Yield/Eluding Arrest, Reckless Driving, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
