Valley Springs, CA…From Calaveras Consolidated Fire…”Calaveras Consolidated Firefighters and CalFire responded to two vegetation fires on Olive Orchard Drive in Valley Springs this afternoon. Forward progress was stopped and both fires were contained to a total of approximately 5 acres. A power pole was leaning across the road with a wire down. Cause of fire is under investigation and it appears that a vehicle might have hit the pole.”
