Jamestown, CA… On October 3rd, 2020 at approximately 6:50 PM, CHP officers responded to a hit and run traffic collision in the area of 7th Street and Fifth Avenue in Jamestown. Upon their arrival, they located the body of 42-year-old Matthew Winks of Jamestown. After further investigation, officers began gathering evidence leading them to believe that Mr. Winks death was suspicious.
