Valley Springs, CA…For this upcoming 2020 election SEIU Local 1021 has endorsed a series of candidates who prioritize the well-being and livelihood of our working-class communities. Jeff Davidson, vying for re-election to the CCWD board, has proven his value and commitment to Calaveras community throughout his 17 years of service on the board.

“After many years working side by side with employees and management staff to better our operations, SEIU 1021 proudly endorses Jeff Davidson for CCWD board of directors,” said 1021 chapter president Richard Hibbard. “His continued leadership and appreciation for our members has gained the respect of the district and we gladly support another term!”

In addition to the candidate nomination, the local has backed the state-wide measure, Prop 15- Schools and Communities First, that seeks to provide funding for schools and community services by taxing the wealthiest commercial corporations in the state.
