Sonora, CA…The California Highway Patrol (CHP) made an arrest in connection to the murder of Matthew Winks from Sonora. On October 13, 2020, at approximately 1:37 PM, Central Division CHP Investigative Services Unit (ISU) located Dylan Colby Moyle driving a 2006 Jeep SUV in the Knights Ferry Area. CHP ISU followed the Jeep into San Joaquin County before pulling into the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca.

Moyle pulled into a nearby parking stall where a felony stop was conducted. Moyle was taken into custody without incident. Moyle was booked into the San Joaquin County jail for 187-PC. We would like to thank the CHP Central Division ISU investigators for assisting us with locating and a capturing Moyle.
