Murphys, CA…Excited to announce a new partnership with my company and the Crowshaw family that owns Sierra Hills market and Angels Food market. We have been working on this project for a couple of months. We both wanted to do something that would serve our community. So we came up with the idea of shopping bags, because of the 1,000″s of plastic shopping bags that are used every month at his families stores. We did our research and discovered that 95% of those bags are not recycled, and that there is a huge impact on our environment here in Calaveras county! So, Starting today when you go into the Murphys store you will see a display by the magazines. It’s for a FREE shopping bag. If you use one of these bags just 11 times you are making a huge difference in our environment! You can also find a schedule of free classes for the month of October. Additional racks will be at the murphys health food store and angels food market in the next few weeks.
