Lompoc, CA…SpaceX completed a successful satellite launch yesterday from Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich Mission also had a very compelling human interest story behind this launch honoring the former NASA engineer that recently lost his battle with cancer. Even if you don’t normally watch the launch videos this one has some very nice moments including the Falcon 9 first stage sticking the landing.
