35 New Covid Cases Reported in Tuolumne County on November 25th

Sonora, CA…Our county has 35 new COVID-19 positive cases today. Of those, 28 are isolating at home and one has already been released from isolation. They include: Under 20: 0 females, 3 males 20s: 1 female, 1 males 30s: 0 female, 4 males 40s: 1 female, 0 males 50s: 5 females, 2 male 60s: 6 females, 3 males 70s: 2 females, 6 males 80s: 0 females, 1 males 90s: 0 females, males Five previously isolated cases were released from isolation today, including one hospitalized individual. And three previously hospitalized individuals are now completing isolation at home.

• Public health staff will be working tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, and throughout the weekend investigating newly identified cases and performing contact tracing activities. The office will be closed. We will try to put out an update at least once over the weekend. We will return to our regular schedule on Monday, November 30. Happy and Safe Thanksgiving to all!

• The Optum/LHI state test site will be offering increased testing capacity beginning next week at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The site will be closed on Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. Beginning Friday, the site will be open seven days a week and will offer an increased number of appointments several days a week. People with concerns about new or worsening symptoms can also call the Adventist Health Sonora COVID-19 Triage Line at 209-536-5166 to speak to a nurse or other clinician.
