Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! As the approaching system moves closer today we’ll see cloudy skies and a lite SSW wind. Warm air ahead of the storm will keep snow elevations around 6500′ initially then early Monday morning the cold air aloft will creep in and bring snow levels down to the 3500′ range. 7-11″ of new snow is expected to fall during the day Monday with another 3-7″ falling Monday night before the system heads East. Winds will increase for Monday as the surface gradient tightens so average winds values will be in the 20-30mph range with gusting to the mid 50’s throughout the day. High pressure and dry weather return Tuesday before the next pulse shows face on Wednesday. Stay tuned……..
