Public Health continues to distribute vaccine within Phase 1A and Phase 1B-Tier 1 of the State Vaccine Distribution Plan. We conducted a vaccination clinic yesterday, administering 600 vaccinations, including individuals in Phase 1A, individuals 80 years and older, and those in the education sector. We are planning to continue our Points of Dispensing (PODs) weekly as vaccine supply allows. Adventist Health Sonora is also planning to conduct another vaccination clinic this Saturday, February 6 for those age 75 and older and the appointment schedule has been opened. The registration link and info on the AHSR clinics can be found in the link below.
Vaccine supply continues to be limited and we are continuing to work with the State and our local healthcare partners on administration of the vaccine according to; State guidelines, the availability of vaccine that Public Health and healthcare providers have on hand, and resources to administer. We ask the public to please follow our website and local media for updates. As we continue our planning and await further guidance and delivery of vaccine, proceeding through the phased distribution, we will update our website and inform the public of how, where, and when they can get expect to get vaccinated. Our vaccine information website with information on the phases and tiers can be found here: https://www.tuolumnecounty.ca.gov/1317/COVID-Vaccine
