Jackson, CA…On Friday April 2nd, Sheriff Ryan administered the Oath of Office for Sheriff Gary Redman. Sheriff Redman officially took office at 00:01 on April 4th. Sheriff Redman previously served as Undersheriff and has been with the Amador County Sheriff’s Office since 1998. Congratulations Sheriff Redman and we look forward to your career full of continued success as Amador County’s 26th Sheriff.

With Sheriff Redman taking office, today he administered the Oath of Office to his newly appointed Undersheriff, Bryan Middleton. Undersheriff Middleton has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 1999 and was most recently the Operations Captain. Also during the ceremony, Nathan Woods was promoted to Sergeant.

Sergeant Woods was previously assigned to the Investigations Bureau. Congratulations Undersheriff Middleton and Sergeant Woods.

Though the Sheriff’s Office is going through administrative changes, serving the citizens of Amador County remains our top priority. Ready to Protect, Proud to Serve.
