Pioneer, CA…Cherie Mural Gordier was born on March 9, 1948 in San Francisco, California and passed away on April 12, 2021 in Carmichael, California. Cherie’s childhood consisted of playing piano, singing in the choir, watching her brother work on cars and spending time with him, her parents, and her best friend, Bonnie.

Cherie worked for many years as the Lead Secretary for the Medical Clinic of the Coast Guard. While working full time, she raised three amazing daughters. All her daughters later instilled in themselves her strength, resilience and were inspired by her to become loving mothers to their children.

She retired in 2003 and dedicated the next chapter of her life to caring for her mother, in Pioneer, California.

Anyone who knew Cherie knew her heart was great. She was selfless, humorous and kind. Her thoughtfulness extended out to her family, friends, charities and helping animals in need.

Cherie leaves behind her three daughters; Corina Angela, Heather Michelle, Tiffany Monique, and her grandchildren, from oldest to youngest; Rashay, Mason, Jordan, Rylan, Deztiney, Nolan, and Aryana. She will be missed dearly.
