Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will employ one-way traffic control while performing construction operations next week at various locations in Amador County. Motorists should expect 10 minute delays and take alternate routes whenever possible.

State Route 16
• Crews will conduct drainage work from State Route 124 to State Route 49 from
8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning Sunday, May 23 through Friday, May 28, 2021.

State Route 88
• Crews will work at the Route 49/Route 88 junction to Broadway Street in Jackson
from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., beginning Monday, May 24 through Friday, May 28,
2021.

This is the continuation of a project that includes installation and upgrades of
curb ramps, driveways and sidewalks for accessibility compliance with the
Americans with Disabilities Act.

• Workers will pave the roadway from Wagon Wheel Drive to Shake Ridge Road
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., beginning Monday, May 24, through Thursday, May
27, 2021.
