Mountain Ranch, CA…William Tod Scott, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Mark Twain Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Tod was born June 26, 1929 in Geary, Oklahoma to William Clifford and Lula Marie Scott. After finishing school, Tod worked on the family farm. He was then drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On October 13, 1952, Tod married Evelyn Carlile. Tod earned a living as an electrician, television repairman and carpenter. He was an avid fiddle and guitar player and also enjoyed gardening and writing poetry. Tod was an active member of the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association, the California Blue Grass Association and the Metropolitan Owners Club of North America.

Tod is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Scott; two children Jane Curry (Jim) and Susan Carlon (Tim); three grandchildren Sara Fox (Kurt), Jessica Carlon and Kelli Carlon; one great grandchild Jason Fox; sister, LuEllen Stewart and brother Jack Scott.

A memorial service for Tod will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Mountain Ranch Community Center. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mountain Ranch Fire Relief fund.
