Alpine County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will employ one-way traffic control next week while crews perform maintenance and construction operations on State Route 88. Work is scheduled to occur as follows. Crews will conduct drainage work between Wood Lakes Road and the Meiss Meadows entrance from 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, June 7 to Thursday, June 10, 2021. Work at the same location will take place from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021. Roadway cracks will be sealed between Red Vista Road and the passing lane near Red Lake from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8 through Thursday, June 10, 2021. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
