Three Illegal Marijuana Cultivation Sites Raided on June 22nd

Mountain Ranch, CA…Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Team Recap June 22 2021. On June 22nd, 2021, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit served 3 unrelated search warrants for illegal marijuana cultivation in Mountain Ranch.  The first site was located in the 18700 block of Old Greek Mine Road in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 242 growing marijuana plants with an estimated value exceeding $169,000. One suspect was contacted at the site and issued a citation.


Jesse Yang, age 46 of Stockton, CA, was issued a citation on charges of 11358 H&S Illegal Marijuana Cultivation, 11359 H&S Possession of Marijuana for Sale, and 11366 H&S Maintaining a Premises for Sales of a Controlled Substance.

The second site was located in the 18800 block of Old Greek Mine Road in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 209 growing marijuana plants and over 6 pounds of processed marijuana. The combined estimated value of the seized marijuana exceeds $150,000. No suspects were located at the site. Evidence was collected and the investigation is ongoing.

The third site was located in the 18300 block of Sequoia Road in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 247 growing marijuana plants and nearly 83 pounds of processed marijuana. The estimated value of the seized marijuana exceeds $255,000. Additionally, Deputies seized one firearm from the scene. One suspect was contacted at the scene and issued a citation.

Matthew Lee Linneman, age 43 of Mountain Ranch, was issued a citation 11358(C) H&S Illegal Marijuana Cultivation, 11359(b) H&S Possession of Marijuana for Sale, 11377 (A) H&S Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 182(A)(1) PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime.
