Mokelumne Hill, CA…This morning Mokelumne Hill becamd the personification of Small Town Americana. Old Glory was flying & Red White & Blue were the color choices for today. Mountain Melody Women’s Chorus led things off with a wonderful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. CCWD Board Member Russ Thomas let the crowd in America the Beautiful and then it was Parade time. Dean Kelaita, MD was the Grand Marshal for 2021 especially in light of his efforts during the Covid pandemic. This event truly had a post pandemic feel and crowd sizes wee almost back to pre pandemic level. The Mokelumne Hill Lions Club did their usual wonderful job as we celebrated our independence on our Nation’s Birthday.
