Angels Camp- On Saturday, November 21, AMA Snowsports brings the the 66th edition of the annual Warren Miller winter sports film back to Angels Camp. This year’s installment of the iconic winter sports film series, Chasing Shadows celebrates why skiers and snowboarders commit themselves every winter to a passion that’s guaranteed to melt away every spring. As always, Warren Miller’s annual film tradition marks the beginning of colder weather, winter exploration and premier cinematography that reignites the excitement for winter sports. Warren Miller once said, “A pair of skis are the ultimate transportation to freedom,” and in this year’s film, skiers and snowboarders find that very freedom as they chase storms, snow and lines on the world’s highest peaks..
SNAC is donating a new Rossi ski & bindings or snowboard & bindings (up to a $500 value!) for the door prize and Bear Valley is donating a Season Pass & all attendees will get a mid-week restricted lift ticket voucher.

“This year’s film will inspire viewers to search out their dreams and find freedom,” says Director of Cinematography Chris Patterson, who has been making films with Warren Miller for 24 years. “Our athletes show us that anything is possible if your passions and desires are in the right direction.”
