Valley Springs, CA…John Edwin Casedy November 2, 1957 – August 2, 2021. John Edwin Casedy passed away peacefully, at the age of 63, on August 2, 2021, after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born on November 2, 1957, in San Gabriel, California to loving parents Vestal and Dorothy Casedy. John attended Silverton High School in Silverton, Oregon 1972-1974, and graduated from Stagg High School in Stockton, 1975. Since childhood John was an all-around athlete in baseball, basketball and football. He participated in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick contest in Junior High School and was named in a ‘Who’s Who in America’ publication. By trade he was a hot tar roofer and worked all over California. John was in the trade 30+ years. John is preceded in death by his father and mother, Vestal and Dorothy Casedy, and also his son Jonathan William Casedy. He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Mary Paulson, sister Sharon (Ken) Buck, daughter Ashley (Adrian) Ozuna, daughter in law Nicole (Jay) Klose, grandsons Anthony Casedy, Xzavier Ozuna, Sparrow Ozuna, Hunter Klose and granddaughters Lilliana Ozuna, Delilah Ozuna, Fox Ozuna, Haylee Hawkins and Taylor Klose. The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all those who prayed for and supported the family during John’s illness.
