Empire Ca Empire, CA – On 11-19-15 at 8:47 PM Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call of a person shot in the 100 Block of Church Street in Empire, CA. When deputies arrived they found a 24 year old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Emergency services personnel arrived on scene and the man was transported to the emergency room where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Detectives responded and worked throughout the night processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses. There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information on this investigation can call Detective Hickman 209-525-7042.
