Sonora, CA…Fire resources are providing initial attack on the Lodge Fire off of HWY 120 at Hardin Flat Road & Rush Creek on the Groveland Ranger District. Fire is approximately 2/10ths of an acre. Also, two smoke reports in the area of Bummers Flat and Payton Saddle have been reported and fire resources are in route.

Today, fire crews are looking for smokes and also conducting an aerial reconnaissance operation. The Forest experienced lightning last night and this morning.
