Sonora, CA…All power restored to Tuolumne County PG&E customers after a series of outages affected about 2,000 customers, including 1,386 customers in Sonora and 491 in Columbia.

We are investigating the cause of the outages, but we know that due to fire risk we had to patrol the entire length of all the affected circuits before power could be restored.

Customers in these areas should expect low-level helicopter flights as part of our patrol and inspection efforts.
