San Andreas, CA…Recently redistricting town halls were held throughout the county on what the potential changes that will need to be made to district boundaries in wake of the 2020 Census. The cliff notes version is while overall population in Calaveras County remained largely static where those people live in the county did not. District Two due primarily to the Butte Fire lost about 2,000 residents and because of this District Two will have to grow enough in size to recoup its populations losses so the 5 supervisorial districts can maintain population parity.
