Arnold, CA…Another of our features backlog follows…We stopped by White Pines Lake over Labor Day Weekend to see how it was fairing under the onslaught of visitors. With fires closing some access to other areas White Pines became the happy place for many. Since White Pines Park & Lake are owned by CCWD and managed by the non-profit White Pines Park Committee the closure orders in effect for USFS properties had no effect on them other than making White Pines the default entertainment option for many in the Arnold area.
