Angels Camp, CA…On Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, the Bureau of Reclamation will waive day use fees at New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa recreation areas for all visitors in honor of U.S. military members who have bravely served our country.
The New Melones Lake Administration Office and visitor center and museum are located at 6850 Studhorse Flat Road, Sonora. The administration office is currently closed to the public and the visitor center is open Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the purchase of park passes. The Lake Berryessa Dufer Point Visitor Center at 5520 Knoxville Road, Napa, is open Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays from noon to 3 p.m. Maps, information, and America the Beautiful and Lake Berryessa annual passes are available during operating hours.
