Arnold, CA…Firefighters successfully completed the Arnold hazard reduction burn on Friday November 26. This project reduced hazardous fuels and provided great training opportunities for all involved firefighting personnel. And in the middle of this burning, the firefighters treated a three year child who was brought to the station for a hand laceration after a fall. Firefighters treated her, gave her a teddy bear, and reassured her and her parents. Both events demonstrate just how quickly CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit firefighters have to react to changing situations.
