Hey Good People!! 134 Inches of Pure Mountain Fun in Last 10 Days at Bear Valley!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Mattly’s weather forecast for Tuesday. Currently there is lite snowfall at the resort at 5am and we look to pick up 4-8″ today before we get into a few days of sunshine. The high today will crest at 22F with SSW winds in the mid 20’s and gusting into the 30’s. Snow levels today will be around 3500′ in the Motherlode region with more favorable snowfall south of I-80.

Thursday looks to be clear and sunny but I won’t rule out some residual snowfall on the back spin of the trough moving over the Great Basin today but that is a 50/50% chance for lite snowfall. Cold air will remain through the weekend bringing great snow conditions for the nicest days with sunny skies we’ve seen in over a weeks time. The weak ridge on Sunday will give way to the next approaching trough and we could see more snow starting next Monday in the “feet” category. Sometimes La Nina has a good snow producing enhancement for the West Coast and this year seems like one of them.

Many laughed at my 400″ season prediction 2 months ago…..let’s hope it still rings true for the season! Stay tuned.
Pure Mtn Fun is our ethos so come on up and check us out.

We look forward to skiing and riding with all ya’ll very soon.

Cheers,
Mattly
