Jackson, CA…The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is proud to support Sutter Amador Hospital with a $100,000 donation. The contribution will directly impact Sutter Amador Hospital’s Area of Greatest Need Fund, which supports the hospital’s emerging and critical needs, unexpected challenges and new technological advancements.

“The Tribe commends Sutter Amador Hospital, especially for their hard work and dedication in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that this donation will aid in enhancing patient care while helping to meet the growing needs of our community,” said Adam Dalton, Tribal Chairman of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians.

Members of the Tribal Council and Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria, formally presented the donation to Sutter Amador Hospital this morning.

Sutter Amador Hospital will utilize the donation on programs and equipment that will be most beneficial for patients and the community.

Donor support continues to enhance our access to resources that help keep our employees, physicians and patients safe as we support our communities through any challenges that may come our way,” said Rachael McKinney, Hospital Area CEO for Sutter Amador Hospital.
