Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations next week on State Route 88.

Work is scheduled as follows:
Route 88
• One lane and both shoulders will be closed for utility work between Martin Lane to Route 124 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
• One lane and both shoulders will be closed between East Ione to Blue Sky Drive for utility work from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022.
• One lane will be closed from Defender Grade Road to Shake Ridge Road for tree work beginning Monday, February 14, through Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
