Kirkwood, CA…At the present time you cannot get to Kirkwood from the westside on Hwy 88. It is closed for avalanche control near Carson Spur just east of Silver Lake. This is fairly common during high snow years but has been a rarity during the drought. Please make alternate travel plans at the present time….
