Hey Good People!! Your Pure Mountain Fun Awaits at Bear Valley!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Mattly’s weather forecast for Wednesday. A wee bit o’ clouds are in effect this morning but by mid day we should see clear, beautiful sunny skies. The high today will rest around 47F with an ESE wind up to 9mph. Conditions are favorable for awesome groomers and off-piste riding around the resort. By 11am or so the off-piste riding comes online as the warm temps give way to spring style skiing and riding on South and Southwest aspects. Soft snow riding is still to be found on Northwest, North and Northeast aspects so check it out and see what Pure Mountain Fun is all about.

Snow is in the forecast and late Wednesday evening will bring increasing clouds and winds ahead of the system which looks to produce scattered snow showers during the day on Thursday. Thursday night 1-3″ looks to fall with Friday seeing up to 7″ during the day and another 8″ Friday night into Saturday morning. Snow levels will start out around 7000′ then drop to 4500K Thursday with some possible colder air bringing those levels down to 2000′ late Friday evening into Saturday morning. Beyond that the models are differing currently but at minimum unsettled weather will follow the coming system as the weather door is opening for more positive activity.

So……we continue the hopeful path to the 400″ season I keep suggesting. I’m still sticking with it…..let’s hope it still rings true for the season!

Cheers,
Mattly
