23 Inches Of New Snow At Bear Valley! Snow Totals Almost Equal To All Of Last Year!! Bear Valley Weather Update By Mattly Trent

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People!!!! 23″ of new in the last 48hrs at the base area and around 25″ up on the summit! Our base is now at 64″ and a season total of 118″!!!!!! Compare that to 121″ for the whole season last year and its shows El Nino is in effect! These totals will increase as during the power outage last night our weather system went offline. A reboot this morning around 6am will show bigger totals I’m sure so check back!

Currently at 5am it’s snowing at the Mountain with Mixed precipitation down in the town of Bear Valley. A warm front within the storm cycle arrived yesterday afternoon and continued to push temps upwards through out the night. As Tuesday progresses temps will start to drop by mid day or so and we could pick up another 1-3″ tonight. Locals and visiting guests alike were in the STOKE ZONE Monday with awesome powder riding all over the Frontside as things are filling in. A recon into the Lower Mtn will happen soon so stay tuned for info on that. Continued snowfall through out the week into Christmas is expected. We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!!!!! Snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Low around 28. South wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
