Angels Camp, CA…The Fascinating and Sometimes Hilarious History of the Dude Ranch. Our Speaker:  Lynn Downey, Former Historian for Levi Strauss & Co. Sunday, April 3, 2022. The Angels Camp Museum Foundation invites you to join us for this very special lecture by Lynn Downey, the former Historian for Levi Strauss & Co.  Lynn came to speak to us in at the museum back in 2017 and we are thrilled to welcome her back!

Lynn will be talking about her new book, American Dude Ranch: A Touch of the Cowboy and the Thrill of the West. Movies, food, women’s history, clothing: all of these have a history with the dude ranch, and Lynn has stories to tell in her illustrated talk.
