Angels Camp, CA…Janice Simpson, age 63, of Angels Camp, formerly of Huntsville, Alabama died peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 5th, 2015. She was born to the late William Oscar Steading and Mary Helen Steading on June 18th 1952 in Fairfield, Alabama.

Janice was an Escrow Officer with various Title Company’s and retired after 31 years. She had a passion and love for horseback riding and had won many awards and ribbons over the past years. She also loved reading, shopping, RV Camping with friends, and of course, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Fred Simpson, the love of her life for 25 years, her stepson Mark and his wife Gina, her stepson Richard and his wife Tammy, and her 3 grandchildren, Alexis, Markus, and Mikayla, her sister Kelly and her late husband Michael, her sister Carolyn and her husband Michael, her 2 nieces Ashton and Christy, and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews, a number of other relatives, great friends, and her beloved dog of 11 years Harley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at their home in Angels Camp on January 9th from 12pm-4pm.
