Sugar Pine, CA…Richard Buren Hayes 11/24/1937 – 4/3/2022. Richard Buren “Dick” Hayes, of Sugar Pine, CA, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence. Dick was born in Coolidge, AZ on November 24, 1937, to He was united in marriage to Margie (Louise) Patterson in 1995 at Carson City, NV. Following their marriage they resided in the community of Sugar Pine where they resided since. Dick retired as a Plumbing Superintendent from Sierra Conservation Center in 2000. He was a “Jack of all trades” having been a tree faller, carpenter, milk man, and insurance salesman through the years.

He was preceded in passing by his wife, Deloris and children, Steven, Becky, John, Mary and Ruthie. Dick is survived by his wife, Margie (Louise) Hayes; his son, David Hayes; and siblings, Mary Wion and Tom Hayes. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Dick’s Life on Saturday, April 30, 2022, 10:00A.M. at Christian Heights in Sonora.
