It is heart-wrenching and violating. A business in the 600 block of South Main Street, Angels Camp, recently had the unfortunate experience of being the victim of burglary two times in two days. While investigating the second burglary on May 10, 2022, an Angels Camp Police Department officer was able to identify and arrest a suspect related to both burglaries. Keenan Skaar, a 23-year-old Angels Camp resident, was arrested and booked in to the Calaveras County Jail for the following charges related to both burglaries: 459 PC – Burglary, and 484(a) PC – Petty Theft of Personal Property from Building. Investigators recovered some of the victim’s stolen property at the time of Skaar’s arrest.
