Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations next week on State Route 88. Work is scheduled to occur as follows: Route 88 • One-way traffic control from the passing lane to Silver Lake for guardrail work beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Thursday, June 2, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022. • One-way traffic control from Tragedy Springs Road to Mormon Emigrant Trail for crack seal operations beginning Tuesday, May 31, through Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
