One Way Traffic Controls for Maintenance Work on Hwys 4, 26 & 49

Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations next week on State Routes 4, 26 and 49. Work is scheduled as follows…

Route 4
• Intermittent traffic breaks in both directions from Bonanza Mine Way to Pool Station Road for transporting equipment for the Wagon Trail Realignment Project beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, 2022.
• One-way traffic control at Horseshoe Drive for utility work beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Arnold Byway to Lilac Drive for utility work beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 26
• One-way traffic control at Silver Rapids Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control at Hogan Dam Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, June 1, through Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Birds Way to Raspberry Lane/Hardscrabble Street for utility work from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
