San Andreas, CA… May we introduce Luke (AO54518) – German shepherd dog, intact male, shelter staff think he’s about 3 – 4 years, 69 pounds. Luke is available for adoption now.
Luke is a mellow boy who has won our hearts…the perfect gentleman. He is one of the more handsome dogs we’ve had lately. With his beautiful, creamy blonde coat, soft ears, and sweet brown eyes, he turns heads wherever he goes. Luke’s personality is a match to his sweet looks; he is a gentle giant, curious and friendly with dogs and people.
He has excellent leash manners and takes treats with a soft mouth.
Luke is very attentive and checks in frequently with his handler. We believe he is housebroken since he keeps his kennel clean.
He enjoys all the dogs he has met and wants to play. A meet and greet is required if you have a dog.
Luke is looking for a person or family who will spend a lot of time with him.
He will need to be neutered before joining you.
Please use Luke’s intake number (AO54518) when making inquiries at the shelter.
All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.
